The breakfast food is fantastic! Good old classics. No extra frills. The pancake is not only a sight to see but it is actually really tender and delicious. The have protected cooking the largest single serving pancake that I have ever seen. Tiny restaurant and tiny parking to serve loyal and dedicated patrons! Best kept local secret!!!
I have had their lettuce wraps about three times and they are wonderful. Plan on going today
This is a great find out near the Chancellorsville battlefield! It reminds me of the small town country stores that we grew up with. A great selection, welcoming environment, and excellent prices! And then you get to the sandwiches!! They have multiple Gluten Free options: lettuce wrap for any cold sandwich and gluten free bread for either hot or cold. My wife got a ham and Turkey lettuce wrap. I got a Turkey and Swiss on Gluten Free bread. Both were excellent! Highly recommended. This should tell you something: the deli line was by far longer than the checkout for the groceries. Again, we will be back if we are back in the FDX area again!
This is always a must visit on trips back to my hometown! Their selection of nuts, candies, and Amish goods is amazing! The deli always has amazing lunch combo prices. And the coffee bar and ice cream bar are an added bonus! If you haven't visited Battlefield Country Store, you're missing out!
We haven't reviewed here in awhile so I thought I would again. Today my daughter ordered the crab cake sandwich and I ordered a BLT sandwich. We ordered a nitro cold brew and an iced snickerdoodle latte. The crab cake sandwich is a little small but my daughter said it was tasty. The BLT was delicious. The staff is friendly as usual. The coffee is good as well. You can sign up for rewards points to use for sandwiches, coffee and ice cream which helps.
